Helm and Abdelkader come in and help the PK and have that line play the smash and dash similar to islanders. The deal is mainly using AA and Neal to obtain Pk help, make room for the kids, and save on cap space by trading Russell/Neal. I didn’t put them up but there is room for a prospect to push for the third line.

Second deal is moving a fin who doesn’t want to be here for a winger to play with mcdavid. JP goes to play with KK and oilers get a winger with mcdavid while keeping the other line together

Having broberg come to the AHL for one season to play with Bouchard for them to get chemistry down there before coming up to be a pairing in the following season or even down the stretch when injuries occur

Not an oilers fan but figured moving Neal to somewhere he gets playing time in a role more suited for him while giving up nothing
