I've been toying with the idea of Labanc to Ottawa for a very similar pricepoint.

I think there's a little bit of risk involved with the Sens paying pick #21 for a guy who isn't completely proven. Granted, the Sharks had an abysmal year, but the kind of drop-off Labanc had would give me pause before handing him a large deal or trading such a quality asset for him.

Does something along the lines of the NYI pick (#21) + the DAL pick (#53) for Labanc + the TBL pick (#31) hold water?

Probably not enough to be honest. If the 2nd was a little bit earlier then maybe but I do think we could get a 1st for Labanc. That offer is close to fair, but probably a little off imo.

I would without a doubt do Labanc and Colorado's 2020 2nd for the Islander's 2020 1st, though.

I mean, Ottawa has the second rounders to burn. What I've gathered from Sens fans is that #33 is off the table unless the deal is way too good to pass up. The Columbus pick looks like it'll be #46 and the NYI pick would be #52. Does the CBJ 2nd get that deal done?

I'm playing around with a bunch of mock draft scenarios and suspect that Ottawa is going to want a quality RW by the time they get to the NYI 1st. Problem being, I have Gunler gone at #17 and Perreault gone at #20: the next best option for the position appears in the early 2nd round. I think there's a scenario where Ottawa trades that pick either for immediate help or down in the draft to take their choice of Weissblat or Foerster. I think this deal accomplishes both.

definitely closer

would you do the Islander's 2020 1st, Columbus' 2020 2nd and Dallas' 2020 2nd for Labanc, Tampa's 2020 1st, and Washington's 2021 3rd?

It might be a bit of column A and a bit of column B type scenario. Dorion has gone on record saying this draft is too deep to go off the board. I believe the feeling around here is that he's saving some picks in 2021 to use as bait for the expansion draft and some picks in this years draft to snag a solid, young top 6 forward or top 4 D from a team in cap trouble. I don't think the NYI first is off the table, but it probably wouldn't be for Labanc. Maybe a Cirelli from the TBL.

This is all moot if NYI ends up with #1 overall (chances are low...) the pick then shifts to next year.
