That 3rd round pick becomes a 2nd if Clifford re-signs in Toronto, so the Kings won't be trading that pick.

I think the Kings are looking for more of a defense-first guy to play on Doughty's pair. Not sure Ghost is the right fit for the Kings.

Again, Doughty is better when he can leave the bulk of the defensive responsibility to his partner. In his best years, his partners were Willie Mitchell and Rob Scuderi. The Kings are looking for another guy like that. They actually like Bjornfot in that role in the long term, but he's still a season or two away from being ready for that responsibility.

Keep Braun away from my team, TYVM. The Kings could use an upgrade at 2RD, he is not it.

Long term, I think the Kings will look like this:

Anderson-????
Hults-Roy/Walker

I think the Kings will look for a short-term stop-gap 1LD to play next to Doughty until Bjornfot is ready. I like Hjalmarsson or Leddy for that role. Either would be a better add than Ghost.
