I project Ladd, Bellows, and MDC rotating on the 3LW and 4LW spots over the course of the season. Unfortunately the offense from Bellows and Ladd will force Trotz to stick with a vet on the 4th line and keep Bellows in a more sheltered possession line with Pageau.
I project, over the course of the playoffs prior to this season, Trotz eventually pairing Toews with Pulock. This keeps Pelech in a more defensive role. Pelech would start off with Mayfield. However, given most likely Mayfield's continued struggles as well as Dobson's progression, they'll eventually swap spots.
Hickey gets traded for a measly 7th but it goes beyond that. Calgary does it as a favor to have Hickey closer to his family.
The Islanders don't get much of a return as fans would like but that's the price you pay for shipping away Komarov.
