Using a NHL simulator, I restarted this past season to see what differing results would occur. Obviously there is no season pause, but here were the stats from it. Players acquired at the deadline got a full season in with the team. I'll continue into the future in later posts and see what scenarios arise for the team...I am both the coach and GM. Trade difficulty-hard.
First thing I noticed--the pens don't get injured as much!!!

2019-20 Takeaways:
-Simon seemingly had a breakout season.
-Murray and Jarry battled it out the whole year and both performed well, although I went with Murray in the playoffs. It will be hard to keep both moving forward.
-Hornqvist really had a down year, but rebounded with a strong playoffs
-Bjugstad didn't do much just like in real life
-Between Geno(40 G), Sid(102 PTS), and Jake(45 G) the offence was really spectacular.
-Zucker had a nice year...what might have been...looking at you Phil...
Into the offseason we go, the cap should go up a little with no COVID-19. We'll see how it turns out.
