So I have been seeing the florida trade going around and then I went thought about what chris johnston said and I did a little different trade involving dermott kerfoot. Instead of florida I traded them to Vancouver. Trade is fair for both sides as vancouver will get a proper 3c and he is from the area so an added bonus there. They also get a cheap 3rd pairing D who should do alright with them.

As for the islanders trade pretty standard. We buy out boychuck they give us mayfield. Bouthiller can play for their ahl or echl team and bracco for ho-sang is a simple 1 for 1 which is fine. the 4th pick is just an added bonus. And mayfield can play with rielly or muzzin

As for Johnsson and engvall moved to ottawa for picks. Ottawa gets 2 players to help speed up the rebuild and toronto gets cap relief.

For the rest of the team, I brought back spezza. Brower could be interesting on the leafs 4th line paired with spezza and he has been known to be a beast in the playoffs so we shall see. Also brought back mikeyv as he is a suitable replacement for johnsson or engvall.

This is just another Idea the vancouver trade is pretty similar to the florida one and should benefit both sides. Also decided to give Agostino a chance to show what he has got for the leafs 4th line.
