Bertuzzi for Demko, Demko is nothing but a career backup goalie at best, Sorry they've very little value. And Bertuzzi will command at least 5 x 5.5 doubt he signs that low.

Thanks for the input, I wasn't sure how much Bertuzzi would cost in his next contract, i thought a bridge deal on a new team might be something conceivable. In this situation i could afford to give him another 925K in a bridge type contract. Obviously you think the trade wouldn't even get done if it was just Demko so i appreciate you're input, but I personally think that Demko has the potential to be a starting goaltender sooner rather than later. Maybe the Canucks need to add for this trade to happen, would a pick and a prospect get it done? example: 2021 3rd & Kole Lind? Or what would Detroit have that the Canucks should consider in a trade with Demko?

Bernier at 31 had about the same numbers as Demko playing on the worst team in the league.

Probably nothing as i see Detroit having zero interest in Thatcher Demko, If i'm Yzerman i'm looking at either Georgiev or possibly Matt Murray if either are moved. Short term possibly Halak. Until our kids are ready.
