Ranking Prospects

Really only Merkley has top line potential, with Ferraro Dahlen and Chmelevski falling more into the second category. I dont think Chekhovich is even on an NHL potential right now. Also would say Kniazev belongs in the top four d man category

looks like you forgot to add from the reserve list... because I don't see John Leonard (who is possibly their best forward prospect) and Hatakka...

Move everyone other than Merkley down a tier tbh (I don't see any top line guys there, and while I do really like Ferraro, I think he'll be a good number 3, and while I would take a few of them over Merkley, he does just have that raw talent, and has been really really good in the OHL this yr) I'd also move Gambrell down, Roy up and Kniazev up a few spots, I really like him

You don't think Chmelevski has top 6 potential? I do see your point for Dahlén and Ferraro, though. For Dahlén it also comes down to whether or not he decides to play in North America. I'm not knowledgeable with prospects (I just based this on stats and projections online) but his production seems ok for a 21 year old in his first season in the AHL. Slightly worse than what I expected, but he did great in the QMJHL.

other notes:
- Knyzhov needs to be much higher, watching him, he looks like he could be another Simek.
- Knaizev (yes that one) also needs to be much higher aswell, he had tremendous skating skills and puck control.
- Chekhovich's stock had fallen significantly since last year, should not be in the top bracket.
- I wouldn't count out Viel or Halbegawachs, Viel could very likely end up being a 4th line staple, and Halbegawachs could still at some point make it.
- Hamalichuk has had a bad season, but he isn't suddenly ruled out from making the NHL, he dealt with Mono for a chunk of the year, which explains a lot of his statistical performance.
