If any NHL team had this many KHL players they'd get killed every game.

Sorokin is 24 and has a career .940 save% having already played 5 years in the KHL, Kaprizov is 22 and probably the best player not playing in the NHL at the moment. Romanov is 20 and is one of MTLs top prospects, Marchenko is 28... I just added him for fun

This is the cream of the KHL crop... NYI and MIN having been praying for the day Sorokin and Kaprizov leave for the NHL and probably never plan on moving them....ever

I like both trades. Does Sorokin sign though?



I mean a KHL All-star team could probably go toe to toe with quite a few NHL teams. Also, these are young and growing prospects for the most part so it's a bit of different story.

Regardless of who the players are it still takes most KHL players over a year to adapt to the NHL. Some adjust, some don't.

Under these circumstances I think he would. NYI have probably been trying like mad for years. And as much as I like those trades too, neither MIN or NYI do them.
