Caolina isnt moving pesce on the way to the playoffs. Value aside they cant lose him with hamilton out. I guess the calgary trade looks ok to me. Not sure it makes you any better

I think the logic is sound but I was thinking that getting one of the better prospects in the league (I'd say top 30) would be enough to tempt Waddell to make that trade. Could happen, might not. I think Hamonic is better than Barrie and Kerfoot for Bennett is getting a bit younger and adding a player with some potential (like how Strome turned into a pretty good player in Chicago)
