Description

Backes is going to get dumped on someone eventually, and Ottawa is the perfect fit. His 6 million cap hit will help the Sens hit the floor next year, and his 3 million in actual salary makes him a Melnyk Special. I've combined it here with a Pageau trade, so between the dump and Pageau going over, the Sens get a 1st, 2nd and solid prospect in Curtis Hall.

Ya I’m in the same boat where I think the second makes this a tad too much. Bump that down to a 4th, and i think that’s a solid deal. Hall is looking pretty good this year. Damn near a goal a game for Yale.
