yes but the goal he had was complete luck last night.. sometimes things work like this.. i'd be excited if he performs himself into a 1st round return for the NYR. With offer sheet compensation being what it is and strome being an RFA, it'll be interesting to see what happens. a team could trade for him with a 1st round pick and get that back via offer sheet if he plays well enough

As long as he is deployed in the bottom 6 (with exception of moving up due to injuries)...and his next contract is commensurate with this role...he can be a valuable asset...but knowing the Rangers- they will push him to a role he is not suited for, over pay him, and/ or allow his presence in the lineup to block development of a deserving prospect.
