I don't think either team accepts these trades to be honest. Carlo is 23 years old working on his 4th year in the NHL. He's on a good contract and still arbitration eligible afterward. While I understand what Gus brings to the table, I don't think it fits BOS's identity or long term plans. BOS also already has Krug, which would make Gus redundant. Krug is quite talented offensively. Also, TOR wouldn't take on more cap. I understand where you're coming from...TOR has a lot of wingers that can score 40-50 points a year. They don't have any shutdown dmen. Maybe the pay a premium? But Murphy's been injury prone lately and frankly, I'm not so sure he's tops on the list to solve their problems.
