Laine had two 30+ goal seasons and a 40+ goal season
ended up with 110 goals total in 3 seasons behind Ovi,Kucherov ,Mcdavid , Tavares and Mathews for 6th overall in the NHL by Age 20

Point is crazy good dont get me wrong he's a Center and a Consistent faceoff player as well but the difference between a Laine and Point
is gonna be either a 1st and a B level prospect or an A level prospect and a 2nd (ex: Vasalainen and a 2nd or Appleton and a 1st to go over with Laine )

Point is not as consistent as Laine as a goal scorer with 91 goals in his first 3 seasons in the nhL to Laine's 110 in his first 3 seasons
but he's a dominant first line Center that WPG could build around the next 5-7 years and become a better team overall .
With Cirelli ls 2nd only to TBL Top Center Steven Stamkos in Faceoffs won , taken and highest FO% in his Sophmore year and would benefit from Points void and Laine's addition .

TBL would only take the deal if Laine agreed to a 9.5m salary in order to play with the player 4 spots ahead of him for # 2 in goals with 120 to Laine's 110 in the past 3 years .
if they could get Vesalainen and a 2nd to go with Laine i think TBL helps gives TBL a winger in 1-2 years who will help them further with their current transition from their Aging roster players.
