Just curious what Werenski will want now that Trouba signed for $8M. I don’t see him (Trouba) play very often and not sure whether he is worth It. He is a couple years older than Werenski, so share your thoughts.

Bingo. 500k overpay is really not that big of a deal to lock up a top pit guy...

No. But it gets worse by the minute/year/long term contract signing... Most teams are maxed out now/near/soon. Even scarier, many low budget/internal cap teams are creeping up there if they want to sign their young star RFAs. RFA cap limit has to be addressed in next cba, as well as a 5yr max term that NHL seems to want (and need).
