I know I was low balling a little but I focused more on a good roster replacement and getting back into the draft.

It's so amusing to see some of the AGM Mitch Marner deals. People have to realize that the starting point is what he would get in an offersheet that the Leafs couldn't match. So, we start with 4 unprotected 1st rounders. Now, is Travis Konecky worth 3 1st round draft picks plus the additional 1st included in this deal. Not a chance in this world, and I am comparing that to offersheet compensation. If the Flyers wanted to trade for Marner, they would probably have to best that. I am not going to start throwing out names, but the Flyers only have a few pieces the Leafs would seriously consider, in addition to any draft picks.

If you go by what is happening in the league the only offer sheet compensation would be 2 1st 1 2nd and a 3rd. Going by that yeah konecny and a 1st might be low balling a bit but a least you get a player willing to play.
