I dont love the team by any means but we arent really in cap jail. Its just cap uneasiness. Also Pick any goalie as the backup i chose lehtonen, but johnson, darling, literally anyone to go in and give you 20-25 starts and maybe win 12-15 for you.

Yeah if you keep McAvoy/Carlo to 11.5 you can keep Halak and just trade Miller/demote Backes, seems like a better option

never said it was the optimal scenario just said its an option. theres more than 1 way to deal with the cap issues.
