Blues trade

Pass. Schenn will be too costly. Want no part of allen. Trade ristolainen for best forward he can get.

God do I hate that STL trade. Giving up all that, and we help them again this year by taking another cap dump off their hands with Allen.

I'm not sure Risto would be of interest to the Blues. Parayko has first pair RHD locked up, and it appears that Armstrong wants to re-sign Pietrangelo, who obviously locks up second pairing RHD. Bortuzzo is a cheap and solid third pair, so Risto really doesn't fit in St. Louis. He's a nice player, but the only way I see the Blues taking interest in him is if Petro and the Blues part ways. By then, Buffalo probably has already moved Risto.

One question for you though, why is a solid RHD like Risto even being considered as a piece to move by Buffalo? What do you guys know up in the Northeast that we don't in the Midwest?
