Dont see this happening, Barrie has been better the last year or so and why would COL want to help Nashville with their cap situation?

I think you don't need to give Timmins. Barrie VS Subban. NSH already save money. They have similar stats. You can add a 3rd round or rights to Andrighetto, something like that.

I see what you're saying, only help them if you think it makes your team better. I think Subban is a better all around player, not quite as good offensively as Barrie at this point but still close, and gives you more defensively. Adding Timmins might have been too much.

They save money this year, but Barrie's about to get PAID. So how much money do you really save with this trade?
