Lose the 3rd and Manning and I would do it. We have way to many LHD and already Manning is beyond useless. Taking on the last year of Gagner is a pretty big gift to a cap strapped team that will struggle to fill out a decent roster with him and they can bury Manning in the AHL where he belongs to create a little more cap. Forsling is a guy that has similar potential to Puljujarvi in that both might just need a different chance to click at the NHL level.

I'm fine with offering less. I just also think that with Rockford basically being completely rehauled...it won't be the worst thing to have veterans down there teaching them the ropes. Yes, it's a lot of money, but it's all stuff CHI can do for the upside Jesse can bring. I'm still willing to make this trade.
