Alright my thoughts
Cap Space was always going to be an issue. However with Marleau and Ziatsev comments, i assume both will be gone now. Marleau: They key for the trade will to not take back any Salary, allowing Dubas to elivate the cap situation
Brown: Again odd man out. Can get 20 goals. has in the past, but 2.1Mil is a bit much. Go play with your old buddy Connor
Marner: his comparables being 2nd contract of Kane(11%) and people saying Point who plays C and scores more goals is worth only 8.1. Does not think Marner should make 10. period. 9.1 on a 7 year deal.
Johnsson: earned himself a little raise with his play but still a bridge deal
Ziatsev: not useless. Decent D if used right. Good ol hockey men like his TOI, cap control, right shot, PK ability and defensive zone and late game starts. Now realisticly he goes to vancouver for stuff, but for funzies dougie hamilton could be on the move. :). Alot of talk about his "personality" which i dont buy, but eh, maybe.
Miller; Thought why not, vegas needs help, we need D.

Now, the lines look ok on D. Meh on bottom 6. BUT you can probably put hyman and dermott on IR to get more cap savings before they come back. This would allow some healty scratches to come up. When hyman and Dermott return, you bump Petan and Holl back to the press box which should happen anyways.
