        Do you know who those players are? You have to look at the bigger picture, McKeown is a promising young defender and Victor Rask is a very solid middle 6 guy. The trade was also for salary cap purposes too. If you want to change the 2nd to a first, knock yourself out go right ahead.Those players aren't worth nothing.
        Also,if you look at the recent trades for young centerman or any centerman in general (i.e Seguin, Turris, Spezza, Kesler etc), you notice that the teams trading away those players got fleeced hard.

        Maybe a fresh start on new teams for both guys can help with their careers
