Description
Obviously not everyone will be satisfied with my moves.

I'll explain my moves here and my opinion on them:

NDJ Trade: They have some salary, basically getting Spooner for free but he can be a good depth player in case of injury and whatnot.

DET Trade: Looks like Goldobin is going to be traded this offseason which sucks imo because I liked him at points in the season and the coaching staff kind of stunted his development by not playing him anymore. To get better, a player has to play.

OTT Trade: Have tons of salary and may struggle to reach the cap floor. Adding Granlund to the trade would make it a bit more enticing as he is a serviceable bottom 6 forward will occasional offensive sparks

TOR Trade: Toronto is going to have cap troubles this offseason so they will most likely be looking to move on with Connor Brown. Recieving Briesbois and a couple draft picks will be a decent haul, not the greatest but they may end up being desperate to moving him. Change the 4th to a 3rd if you like, whatver makes you happier

MTL: There is a chance that MTL could be giving up on Drouin as he really struggled in the last half of the season. Due to that, his value is a lot lower than when he was traded the first time. Baertschi is a good middle 6 forward who had an injury riddled season and getting back these 3 draft picks is a lot better than most people may think. Palmu is a hit or miss maybe he'll be better in Laval than in Utica.

The salaries is based off @EvolvingWild on twitter except for Edler's I don't see him signing for 5.8 mil a year but don't see him taking less than 5 mil a year.

This is obviously not perfect but try not to be too harsh in the comments, Thanks :)

I am sure everyone knows the leafs might be shedding some cap but Brown will get more than that ( unless there is value in the player I don't know him). Brown is by far the leafs best PKer and would put a hold in the roster only saving a mil really

Like i said, make it a 3rd round pick and Briesbois if you want. Brown is not going to fetch more than a 3rd rd pick and low tier prospect. He's on lock for a few more years and any salary shed will help the leafs this offseason. His two million dollars CAN be the difference whether Kapanen signs or not. PK specialists are easy to find and being the best PK player on the leafs didn't really work out so well during the playoffs this year.
