    Blues might do that deal Shattenkirk. Might be a lot for Boston to give up for one year of Shatt. Blues could use the cap space for Backes or Brouwer. Not saying it isn't a fair deal of Johnston, but the CBJ have cap problems so Krecji may not be best deal for them.

    Depends how you look at it. In the (unlikely) event that Stamkos signed with the B's - they would have to trade Krejci. Krejci also has a NTC that he would need to be waived. You would have an upgrade at C and D, by signing Stamkos and trading Krecji, with the above deal. I'd take that.
