I am not saying leave all the young prospect in the minor or AHL. What MTL can do with the prospect pool down and starting the year with the current element and trades. Once the pospect players show they deserved to be recall, then we make space for them. On game 1, 10 or 50, what is the habs decide to go that road. Yep, we all want them to win the cup and make super trade and sign superstar UFA, but just for that exercise I leave them down. For the goalie, one of them need to come up to free a spot for Cayden Primeau

Alzner, well we are stuck with him. We need a Left dman, why not trying him again as a 6 or 7. If a prospect Dman show he can play better than him, we bring him up and drop Alzner in the minor and he get paid millions. He can't add value down there for a trade, so why not trying to add value up in the NHL, if I was him, I would try to take that unique chance otherwise, long bus trip in the AHL will be his next year (s).

The best would be to signplayer for 1 year, to leave room for Max Domi next year, but not many player will sign a 1 year deal unless they don't any offer. In 2020, the pool of prospect left in the minor will pay off and give flexibility in salary, but for next year, MB need figure out a way to get Alzzzzzzner off the book, without taking another bad contract.
