Oof... stick to the Penguins.

Bob, Panarin and Duchene are as good as gone even if they do something magical this season. Also Duchene is still a cancer and not worth the extra unprotect 1st Ottawa would get for him. Also you have failed to include some of the younger players who will likely have a shot to make the team next season, like Merzlikins who is suppressed to be the replacement for Bobrovsky, personally I don’t think we could ever replace Bobrovsky. Also I doubt Milano or Carlsson are back both are busts at this point and we just signed Glorikiev (no clue how it’s really spelled) who will likely make the team next season. Not to mention Dalpe was good in the AHL but sucked when he was called up earlier this year.

I totally disagree with you on our UFAs. Bob probably is gone but... Panarin I am not sure he leaves. The Jackets will be there come the end of the season and are the only team that can offer him 8 years. Same goes with Duchene. I have a hard time seeing both of them leaving a lot of money on the table to go to another team who may not be better than the team they are on right now. Chance of the players staying:

Panarin 50%
Duchene 75%
Dzingel 85%
Bob 20%

Subtract 20% from every player and you have the real likelihood they comeback. Also I doubt Columbus wants to bring back Duchene after the added 1st would go to Ottawa is he’s resigned. I think we would be better off without Duchene anyways. He has a cancerous feel about him.
