Keeping it simple with current crew + JH .... a solid veteran defenseman and / or a RW via free agency or trade would provide a big boost. Draft doesnt look deep for Defense, but hoping Shero uncovers a gem with all those second rounders. Devs desperately need to inject additional high level blueline prospects. LGD!

That goes without saying. Ty Smith looks promising though. Maybe go after someone like Myers or Stralman to help stabilize it. It certainly looks as though NJ has the funds.

Those are definitely the two I was thinking of (Right sided), but I doubt Shero goes for Stralman due to age & I suspect Myers will be overvalued for what he is now. I'd have Severson ahead of him for sure ... maybe even Sami... so it seems to me too much money for a 3RD. Both would help, but it would be short term band aids.
