Wild say no. First, we have 6 LW's as it stands and already have to move one (most likely Zucker) in the offseason. Second, if we trade any of our defenseman, it'll be Spurgeon and not Brodin unless a team is willing to give us an extreme overpayment (which this is not). Third, Fenton has said publicly he isn't satisfied with our prospect pool so I can't see us trading away any of our picks in the first 2, and likely first 3, rounds of the draft this year and most likely next. Fourth, we don't have anybody in our entire system that projects to be a 2nd pairing LD to replace Brodin.
If the Habs want Brodin, it'll cost them an arm and a leg. We have no reason to move him.
