Description
Tampa obviously will have to relief some cap space. So, this trade makes a lot of senso to both teams. Tampa will need another top-4 RHS d-man and Faulk would be a very good fit for them. Foegele would be a good add as a young depth winger.

As for Carolina, Johnson would be a much top-9 versatile two-way player, who can help them in both ends of the ice and would bring them some score boost and speed to their game either. And Palat would bring them even more speed and some playmaking ability to their middle-6. So, it'd a win-win trade.
As for Fantanberg, I think he's a solid top-6 d-man, which can help specially in his own blue line.

No need for these kinda moves yet. Not until next off-season at least. @Shibbal18 posted a very good and realistic scenario where Callahan is actually bought out and there's still cap space to resign Point. Next off-season though they'll have to move about $7-$9M of cap space though. Check his out:

"The Hockey Central insiders look at the Board of Governors meetings and what the NHL discussed, including a potential 2020 World Cup and the rising salary cap. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is expecting an increase of the league's salary cap to roughly $83 million for the 2019-20 season."

So, in this case my scenario is more realistic than yours, cause in

he put the cap in 83.7M and the roster just have 21 players with 1.3M cap left.

Anyway, I think my trade is a good option for them. Their roster would still be strong.

I also said, to address his contract length concern, give him 3 years at 7-8 mill, gives TB more room

Johnson scores 28 goals. I think he still can create score chance and he's very good on defense as well. As for Palat, I think he need some fresh air to maybe play a better hockey. I think both teams could win with this one.
