That being said Farabee and Frost both probably need the year in the AHL to build up some strength, Tampa will find a way to fit Point by trading away Callahan/Miller/whoever, and Voracek will continue to turnover the puck for us all year.

This is probably the only Armchair GM post that doesn't trade Haag for a 4th rounder.

Ghost's defensive woes are vastly over exaggerated. Sure he isn't going to hit people off the puck but he uses his stick pretty well. He is also on a very team friendly contract and Tampa has like 3 dmen under contract next year and already up against the cap. As stated, Tampa will most likely find a way to dump off contracts to fit him under the cap but it's going to take a lot of players to jettison. This trade would give them two roster players, a prospect, and (as it stands right now) the 11th overall pick.

Already finishing in last place next year? lol
Ottawa has a ton of cap space and needs some skill up front. Batherson could be interchanged with another prospect.

I hope we re-sign Ceci for 1 year because we need him to tank. And yes if this team gets Byfield or Lafreniere, and somehow ends up with another top 4 RHD, they could mean business
