The Puljujarvi return has been rumored to be no more than a 2nd (https://www.sportsnet.ca/article/once-again-puljujarvi-wants-out-and-oilers-are-ready-to-accommodate-with-a-trade/). I agree that Puljujarvi is better (much better imo), but he's severely undervalued. Maybe take out the 3rd from that trade.

At the end of the day, he's 1 year from UFA. No name goalies on expiring contracts don't get big returns, although I can understand the Ducks not wanting to trade him.

Chicago probably wants more for that.

Never thought about Muzzin to NJD but doubt it.</div></div>

Wouldn't mind at all just paying the rumored 2nd rd pick asking price for Puljujarvi. Kerfoot should have similar perceived value based on his 50 pts this season.

Hard to say how much Holl is valued around the league, but perhaps a 2nd or 3rd rd pick sweetener would be necessary.

NJ's left defense is incredibly weak. They have cap space and look like they're aiming to be competitive this year. If they land Gaudreau and a decent goalie, Muzzin could be appealing to round out their team (although they might be tight against the cap at that point with Bratt).
