CAN EVERYONE STOP PUTTING KESSEL IN TRADES
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mhockey91</b></div><div>The only way he doesn’t get traded is if he lights it up in the post season and pens win the cup. And even after that, I could still see them moving him. Kessel is not a core piece for us. If we could get a young, budding star on the verge of breaking out I’ll take that. Ideally, I’d go for 2017/18 Jake Guzental type player. You can see the potential there and you know he can break out. Pens need to get younger to keep the Crosby/Malkin window alive</div></div>
I see what your saying but, they wont trade him just to trade him. Needs to be for the right price a 1st a player who can get 65 to 70 points and a good prospect or a few picks

Interesting
Noooo, can everyone stop putting Kessel in trades he is having a good season. Kerfoot is ok and Calvert is already hated by Penguin players. van Riemsdyk is good for how much he makes, would like to keep Gudbranson but dont have the money to keep him. Puljujärvi is trash and will go to Europe in 2 years. Wouldent mind getting rid of Maatta but for the right price.

Why are people saying to trade Kessel? He has 78 points in 79 games, not bad.

Dont want Connolly because has only has had one good season and some team will give him way too much money, also skipped out on white house visit. I think the White House visit should mean something to every players.

If Puljujarvi really has that low of value I would hope the Oilers look at others in the same situation. Players like Milano and Ericsson Ek maybe for example.</div></div>
Puljujarvi has 9 points

Kessel
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Arom5477</b></div><div>In the past 22 games Hornqvist has only three points (all assists) at 5v5...that's not good. And I'd warrant to say that Guentzel is a better net front presence on the powerplay, so I'd expect Hornqvist to produce 5v5. And he can't produce 5v5 until he has a permanent postion on Malkin's wing.
And Kessel is becoming too powerplay dependant to get points. He has one goal 5v5 in like the past 20 games. That is not ideal in the slightest for how the Penguins are structured currently.</div></div>
None of your trades are realistic, the best one is the Gudbranson, but wont go to Winnipeg because their low on money to spend.

Kessel
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Arom5477</b></div><div>The last game they played..... And no they aren't. Kessel is with Malkin. Hornqvist is with Bjugstad.
You sure you're watching the games?
And like I said: there is no need to hold onto a 1st rounder for a prospect that may or may not make in impact in the Crosby/Malkin era. Use the pick on a young roster player like Kerfoot that can make an impact now.</div></div>
Yes, I have watched every game since the start of the 2013 season. Hornqvist has 5 points in the last 7 games and Phill has 5 points in the last 7 games, so they are getting better. I see what you are saying we should trade out 1st rounder, but we should get a dman before a forward. Kerfoot isn't worth a 1st rounder too.

Kessel
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Arom5477</b></div><div>The Penguins have no need for a first, might as well get a young and versatile player. And they need players, not prospects right now. I'm sure management is fully bought in on the fact that soon, the Penguins will be bottom feeders with no prospects
With each passing game, the more I see how much Kessel handcuffs the Pens roster. If he's not playing well, he has to play with Malkin. Which means Hornqvist has to play on the third line, which is a waste of 5.25 million and doesn't suit his style. It also means that the power play is struggling.
I'd rather move on now that his value is still high and get an impact LW out of it.</div></div>
Dude when was the last time you watched a Penguins game, Hornqvist and Phill are playing better. No need to trade them. Kerfoot is not worth a 1st rounder, no need for a forward.
