I think Gregor was more of a factor game 6 than Robertson. He can also fill in on the PK if necessary.

PLD might be the worse cancer in the league, nobody is trading for him. Do yo have inside information that Marner asked for a trade to LA?

Idk if Domi would take that amount or term. Tanev gets more and Robertson gets less.

get reilly a partner and a proper second pair guy
Rielly needs to be on the 2nd pairing where he belongs. He isn't a top pairing d-man whatsoever. He can't- clear the front of the net, play the PK, has the worse PP point shot in the league, is average at best winning puck battles along the boards, never stands up at the blueline to make a hit. What he does is pass the puck to great offensive forwards and picks up a lot of assists. 7.5M for that is a overpayment and any 3.5M d-man that can make an outlet pass would put up similar numbers.

They say to him Mitch you have to go to a bottom feeder because we want a change. Mitch, well l will just play out this season and walk, you leafs can puck-off and get nothing for me.

Toronto if they keep Marner and sign him to Matthews deal
That forward group would get caved in so bad in the playoffs they might not even score. If big changes happen JT shouldn't be re-signed he is not a guy that makes a team gel or stickup for each other.

Marner to Utah
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>Weak season: If all you want is offense then exhibit A is the Leafs/Marner in the playoffs. If all you want is pts, he did not have a weak season.
Weak season in which he did offensively produce, but all leaf fans are looking to trade him for every other aspect of his game. As an expiring 11mil UFA, probably getting 13+ on his next contract, I'd want something more than just a 101 pt pace on an offensive powerhouse team with 2 other players who can put those pts up.
Is he the weakest link? No. But according to most, he is in one single player everything that is wrong with the Leafs.
He is a great offensive player, and IMO directly responsible for Matthews great offensive year, but most see him as the fall guy and that Matthews can do no wrong. He could work well on other clubs, and IMO, Leafs have a defensive issue, then a coaching issue, with some self serving entities, not marner alone as the culprit. But if pts is all that matters and the same disappointing result and mental "fragility" dont bother you then sure, hes/the team had a great year</div></div>
Let's also talk about the leafs imaginary #1 d-man who is a #3 on any real contender. 11yrs Rielly has had a chance to develop a slapshot and one-timer. He is useless as a point threat on the PP, doesn't PK, can't clear the front of the net, never stands up at the blueline to make a big hit or a hit at all. Any mid-level offensive d-man that can make an outlet pass could put up similar numbers at half the cost as Rielly.

Marner to Utah
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mikael_Smith</b></div><div>Weak season where he put up 101 point pace?</div></div>
The sheep will follow the herd. Marner 47points Matthews-44points Nylander-41points in 50playoff games before this season. Marner weighs 30-50 pounds less than Matthews, JT, Nylander and Rielly. You don't hear anything about their lack of physical play. Not one of those 4 make a big hit ever. Matthews has been his most physical this playoffs but now he's hurt. Rielly is the worse #1 d-man in the playoffs but you don't hear anything about his in ability to clear the front of the net, make a check like McCabe or Benoit, play the PK and has the worse point shot of any #1 d-man in the league.

Cade Webber making the leafs as an everyday player next season if ever is out there. Marner isn't waiving to any team that isn't a top contender which wont be an easy move. Marner double retention at the TDL with a cap hit at 2.7M is an option.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheresAlwaysNextYear</b></div><div>Nobody says he’s a bad player but he’s not getting paid 11 million to dominate the Flyers on a Tuesday night in December, he’s getting paid to produce in the playoffs. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Leafsfan98</b></div><div>Which is why I said that you are wrong,
He's been brutal</div></div>
Leafs are lucky Matthews with 3points and JT with a goal in the series have been lighting it up to Marners 1goal and 1 assist. (Matthews-28 Nylander-24 Tavares-36 Rielly-42) The number is how many pounds each player out weighs Marner by. He is by far the smallest guy but leaf fans expect him to play like the biggest. Besides Matthews once every 25games not one of those guys makes a check you can say makes the other team keep their head up. But Marner is the problem in the playoffs.

LOL, that Marner trade is a joke. Your short a first round pick a top prospect and a top six forward. Has Marner asked for a trade? He might ask for one but he will probably just walk after next season.
