The only way that trade can come is IF Kent Hughes REALLY want Demidov. If he is not sure, he will gonna take the risk that Lindstrom continue to fall down of the top 4.

I think they will : Columbus and Montreal are likely gonna take a foward, depending of Lindstrom or Demidov.

Anaheim don't need offense, they REALLY need a RD with a stacked Draft like this one (and I think it's one of the reason of why they decided to get rid of Drysdale).

The problem is that I don't really see any teams right now who will gonna be open to make a trade for Dubois with that contract. If they really not want to get stuck with that contract for the next upcoming years, they will need to buyout him. I'm sure that if the playoffs finish before June 22, they will gonna do that : they will free up 7M who can be spend to something that can become a better fit for them. They have the chance to get rid of this mistake, but it's a massive mistake to keep him if only because Blake have an ego and don't want to admit that was a bad moove by him. Also, Boston didn't really have the cap for making somes trades for big contracts. They will gonna need to resign Swayman and DeBrusk, and also need a top-4 Dman + a centerman with a limited cap.

Dubois never really haved a bad season with Winnipeg. Rumours is that he pushed for trading him away to somes specifics destinations (Montreal was one of them, and he did it also with Columbus.....).

About Blake, Friedman mentionned that he can be fired and be replaced by Marc Bergevin.....

I also forget to mention that Montreal have a strong young defensive core : Guhle, Reinbacher, Hutson and Mailloux are all over Barron in my opinion.

Barron have some value, but I'm sure that they will gonna use it for a young top-6 foward.
