Wow. I really like this team. 3 powerful lines that can dominate at any point. Like the idea of possibly moving Yamamoto down with RNH and moving hall up with McDavid, creating a very speedy line. Hall is there for one year to help win a cup. RNH might be traded at the deadline for pieces if Marody and Benson can produce at the NHL level, creating flexibly in cap and providing draft picks and prospects with that trade. All around a great time. Best I've seen yet.

Trying to think of a good goalie who could come cheap for one year until EDM finds a legit backup that’s not close to retiring. Howard could have a huge bounce back year but tough to tell. He’d come very cheap and has a lot of experience.

You do realize Greiss is 34. Why would they want to old goalies when they can trade for a 26 year old that has dominated the playoffs and is in a rough patch. Trade for him for cheap Then sign him long term and lock up a goalie.

Watch Drouin's Tampa Bay highlights, he played a game with confidence and dominance. He lost that edge in MTL. Hasn't played his skilled game there. On 97's wing he'd flash speedy and creativity again.

The UFA market has goalies 28 and older. Not an age where you want to build your franchise around. Know you're talking about Lehner, he's about to turn 29 years old. Would you rather sign him for 4-5 years until he's 33/34 or a goalie whos 4 years younger and has already won 2 cups and knows how to win?

Player who is the same age and has already been a consistent 50 point producer. He is signed long term with a low cap. Mantha’s health is a liability and they’d rather have a playmaker with long term and affordable cap.
