Leonard is a great prospect but I don't think him and a first is enough for Pettersson. The other pieces are irrelevant.

EP40 On Deadline Day
Canucks aren't going to trade for Lindholm then sewer their playoff chances by trading Pettersson before the deadline. Even so I doubt that's a package that the Canucks would move Pettersson for.

I seem to be in the minority here but I just don't see Monahan having first round value.

I don't think either team does that Tampa deal. I doubt Buffalo wants to give up a first round that again is likely to be a lottery pick and Tampa is going to squeeze every bit of juice out of that core before they blow it up. I don't think this is the year Tampa starts that rebuild.
I don't think Middelstadt carries that much value to warrant a first round pick back.

You can't be serious with that Sens trade can you?
Oilers aren't going to trade you the only goalie they have any faith in whatsoever. Especially when they've won 17 of their last 20.

Jets are near the top of the league. They aren't going to let start selling important roster players for 3rd round picks.
I doubt the wings would do that deal.
Two useless players for Leddy, Blues decline.
Hawks would have really no NHL caliber goalie if they made that trade.

Rebuild number 2
There is no universe where the Canucks take on Barrie. He is at this point in his career simply a pp guy and the Canucks have Hughes and Hronek that would be pp options long before Barrie is considered. Garland right now is playing so well and driving one of the best 3rd lines in hockey. Canucks decline.

Huberdeaunt
I wouldn't do that deal if I was in charge of the Avs. A proven supremely skilled dman in his early 20's is worth far more then a young winger who hasn't established himself yet and an overrated dman with a bloated contract.
As much as I don't like Laine and his contract any trade that could possible get Calgary out from under that Huberdeau deal is a win. Calgary should accept.

Nashville can't believe the offer and instantly accepts. What an overpay. Saros is a great goalie but wow that's a lot to give up. I appear to have more faith in Woll then you do.

Calgary should thank their lucky stars someone wants to trade for Huberdeau. They should run to the phone to call this trade into the league.
Can you explain a former 3rd round pick who still isn't a fuil time NHLer is worth a 2nd and 3rd round pick? Coyotes decline.
The Oilers trade is a win for both teams. Oilers would likely have to move out Campbell which may make this complicated.

Nobody is going to take on Huberdeau without a serious return to take on that kind of cap hit for that contract that still has an eternity on it.
I'm really not sold Tanev will fetch a first round.
Caps deal seems possible.

All trades got accepted on CHEL
I am far from a Flames fan but I doubt they'd part with those players for Nurse. His contract is one of the worst in the NHL for the value he provides.
To get that cap room off your roster in Campbell you will have to give up something of value for a team to take on an AHL goalie gettting paid 5 million a year. It will likely take a late first or a second round pick.
No chance Philly parts with a dman playing 20 minutes a night for 2 late round draft picks. Even less of a chance they'd retain money for such a feeble return.

Huberdeau is a shell of himself from his florida days and Mangiapane hasn't come anywhere near his 35 goal pace of 3 years ago. I don't know how you think this roster is "flush" with wingers. You may have a lot of them but none of them are of any value or impact and even fewer have even come close to scoring 39 goals Kuzmenko scored last year. Yes he's struggled this year but he's still on pace for 22 goals.
As for the trades I realize they are all in trades I just think the Canucks organization wants to keep building and building so they have a sustained run not just be a one year wonder.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KingofRnR</b></div><div>You’re over valuing your players and discounting Beauvillier’s value at the time
VAN’s 2023-1st was projected to be 13th Overall and ended up at 17th Overall ~/= Lekkerimaki
Raty ~/= VAN’s 2024-1st Don’t forget Raty wasn’t just some 2nd Round/Good Prospect, he’s considered a Top Prospect: <a href="https://eyesonisles.com/2021/07/24/islanders-2021-nhl-draft-steal-aatu-raty-52nd-overall/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Raty was once considered a possible first overall for the 2021 NHL Draft.</a>
Soucy ~/= NYI’s Former 1st Round Pick Beauvillier at the time of the Trade
You got Zadorov to replace Soucy, so give him an extension
You want to pre-negotiate and give Lindholm an extension too, go ahead, no problem. With the Cap Increasing and Myers coming off the books, it should be no problem, especially if/once you move Kuzmenko and/or Garland out as well
Most agree Lindholm is more valuable > Horvat</div></div>
I believe you are overvaluing Raty's pre draft hype and your own players as well. This is moot because both Allvin and Rutherford have said the Canucks first round pick this year is not in play so I'd be shocked if they moved it especially for a rental. I honestly disagree with literally every one of your points but that's ok we're allowed to have different opinions. Ho Ho Ho

I don't think Edmonton will move Stuart unless its a huge upgrade. They'd do this if you took Campbell but I doubt you'd want him.
Laine is not the asset CBJ fans think he is. The shine has worn off from his time with Jets. He is not going to get you a player like Ullmark especially with the NTC Ullmark has. Laine is a one trick pony with a big ticket, injury concerns and has had issues with multiple coaches and multiple organizations now.

I don't know how many times this Canuck management group needs to say their first round pick isn't in play before people stop using it as ammunition to add a player to this roster.
Plus adding 5 million to next years cap makes it very hard to sign both Hronek and Pettersson and fill out the roster. Remember only Hughes and Soucy are signed beyond this year.
Not saying I don't like Batherson. I think he's a very skilled hockey player but I don't see the fit due to the cap. In fact I don't see the Canucks adding a player of any term until they sign their two impending RFA's.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KingofRnR</b></div><div>That’s what I did…. Don’t forget, VAN’s 1st was projected to be 13th Overall when Bo was Traded, but slid to 17th Overall. Also, Raty was projected to be a mid-1st Round Pick. Beauvillier = Soucy and I added a depth D and Nikoleyev for Pius Suter. Flames’ll need a replacement Centre</div></div>
That's not close to what you did or asked for. First of all the draft pick we got for Bo was top 12 protected so if it went any higher it would have become an unprotected 2024 first. For Horvat we got a bottom 6 winger on a big cap hit with term at 4.25 in Beauvillier, a 1st, and Raty who is a former second round pick.
You are asking for a former 15th overall pick, plus <strong>another</strong> first, plus a top 9 forward on a great contract and a 4/5 dman on another good contract.
Canucks are unlikely to give up Soucy as he is only 1 of 2 canuck dmen currently signed beyond this year. In order to get a package like the Canucks got for Bo they'd likely need assurance that they could resign Lindholm which I doubt they can with Pettersson and Hronek heading towards big deals.
