Hanifin is the puck moving LHD we’ve lacked since Ledford left. The powerplay needs a puck moving defenseman badly. Pulock and Dobson aren’t it, and Aho is awful. Hanifin is the puck moving defenseman this team has missed since Leddy and Toews were traded. The main problem this year was the powerplay, and the biggest issue was not having the Leddy/Toews player. I’d like someone other than Lee to play with Horvat and Barzal, but worst case scenario, we could put Durandeau up there. Not ideal, but the puck moving LHD is number 1.
