Lol oh the chance of all these bodies moving is slim to none . I think it makes edm better and yzerman needs to dump bodies off his rosters for the prospects

We have zero, and I mean zero, interest in adding a LD. He will quite honestly never play a hockey game for ANA with Fowler, Montyukov, Lacombe, Vaakanainen, and Zellweger already there.
It would take a biiiig overpayment to reel in Gudas, who is almost certainly the least likely ‘veteran’ to be moved in ANA. This is not remotely close</div></div>
15 in 47 and a few years back 17 in 56 games. I'd say hes a 20 goal scorer but if you want to be "technical " yes hes "technically" not hit 20

Leafs would have more money to find a goalie and another move after this trade. Yzerman can find a taker for reimer or send him down and gets rid of holl's spot and saves money and gets a c to help with Larkin out

thought process was if your going to get rid of henrique and vatrano youd have spots and figured a 5th for copp to later turn around and flip him with more retention you might turn that 5th into a 2nd and 5th back or such down the road
Either way it's all good

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lancebmx</b></div><div>Wings fan?
Why does Detroit do either trade?
Copp has been good as our third line centre. Second best on the team in face-offs, really good defensively and wants to be there.
Adding a prospect seems ridiculous since Pittsburgh gets the better player who is younger and can play anywhere.
There is no room for Smith in the roster, we don't need more wingers really unless they are defensive specialists or very physical in my opinion.
Then trading a player we just signed and retaining on him for 2+ years, why? We need him more than a 3rd since we don't have anyone to come up and replace him. Unfortunately we are stuck with him and it's not worth retaining on him to move him.</div></div>
Always thought from day 1 we gave copp too much money and term and I think that's still the case today. We have a bunch of kids coming up soon and I'd look to move him sooner the better before his value goes further down

Kakko
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aedoran</b></div><div>There is playing it safe and just being stupid Copp is very good defensively and Sprong's production on the 4th line with less TOI is far better. Kakko had 1 good season and is useless defensively. I was trying to be funny with that last post mainly to give you an out. But now I'm sorry you just sound like a fool who has no idea what they are taking about.</div></div>
Its not being stupid your going to lose sprong for nothing in free agency... I'd have np keeping him but hes Gonna look for 4-5 years and I dont blame him
It's all fun now but when it's all said and done theres a very high chance we miss the playoffs. The eastern conference is very good . As for copp we gave him too much money and term and I'd be shocked if he finishes that contract here if he does it'll be on the 4th line with all the kids coming
If nyr wants veleno I'd do it as well ... none of these guys will be of importance or even around when were at the top again
You can keep thinking I'm a fool I seriously couldn't give a Rats ass what you think

Your hilarious... you think they'd be looking to deal kakko after last season? Players coming off good seasons arent usually made available unless a team is rebuilding and god Awful
You want to go check byfield stats last season and this one??? Youd have been here last year saying it would be a bad move and dont say it's a different case
Sometimes you have to take chances on a player when the value isn't at its highest, hes still young enough to turn things around , at the very least be a 20-25 goal guy after having posted 18 playing on the 3rd line Last season
But let's keep playing it safe

Dont think he has a full no trade ... hope yzerman ain't that stupid. And I'd say theres a 0 percent chance New York is on his no trade
Ah yes were in the wildcard race so we should just go for it and ignore the rebuild is far from being over and shouldn't go for a young player with upside
Might as well add another dman with term

Kakko got 40 pts last year , not even sure zadina has 40 in his career lmao
I'd have zero problem dealing both. Sprong is a ufa at seasons end . Were not winning a cup .. move veleno to 3c and kakko takes sprongs spot

Kakko
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lancebmx</b></div><div>Why would the Wings do this?</div></div>
Why wouldn't we ??? Were still a rebuilding team despite the fact everyone's got a boner cause we're in a playoff race despite the fact we'll likely just miss out
Sprong is having a great year but hes a ufa and the rangers are a cup contending team. Copp signing was a bad move from day 1 , too much term and $ if we move him we'd have to eat salary
Rangers again are a cup contending team and hed be better there atm ... we can slot up veleno to 3c short term. We have kasper and danielson coming up soon and thus making copp a bottom 6 player
Kakko has been unspectacular thus far but he was a former 2nd pick and I'm waiting to take a gamble. Those are the players we should be going for . Rangers need a 3c it's either copp or compher
I'd real veleno but rangers are trying to win a cup so doubt they take him

Turcotte was offered to the habs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ricochetii</b></div><div>I didn't see it say the Kings made an offer?
Only that the Habs received an offer of a former 1st round pick with 2nd line potential for Xhekaj. It didn't specify which team the offer came from.
They declined.
Rumors are rumors but a former 1st rounder doesn't necessarily mean something good.</div></div>
Your 100% right lol sorry ... that's what happens when you post while watching nfl lol
