Oy.

1. Erik Karlsson is extremely unlikely to sign any deals that are for less than 7 years. One of the only bargaining chips that SJ holds with regards to his contract is that they can give him an 8th year - he will not be signing a six year deal with them. Also, he's a RD and putting him out with Burns is an utter waste of their talents - they work extremely well as lines 1A and 1B.

2. Šimek has played beautifully with Burns all season and, provided his knee heals well and he's back at full strength, I sincerely doubt that he'd be playing with anyone else. Also, he's an LD not an RD.

3. Merkley is a talent, no doubt, and his 71 point season is bringing us all great joy and hope for things to come, but it's extremely unlikely that he'd be going straight from the Petes to the Sharks. Not impossible, but unlikely. I think that chances are that if there's an empty RD spot on the blue line that you'll see Roy given a chance well before you'd see Merkley in it. (Realistically, it's extremely likely that the Sharks will re-sign Heed.)

4. For Ferraro, see above. He's doing good things at UMass, but his numbers have slid from last season and he's definitely going to be doing some time with the Barracuda. This is Dillon's spot in the lineup, and if you think the Sharks are going to bump him for a rookie fresh out of the NCAA, then you're literally talking out of your hat, especially given the season that Dilly's been having.

5. ZERO percent chance that Donskoi doesn't get a raise. Literally, zero. Yes, he's running hot and cold and yes, he had a bad season in 16-17, but he's got valuable experience and performs well in the playoffs and is on track for a career high season this year - if you look at players with comparable numbers (14 goals, 20 assists) you'll get an idea of his value. Llook for him to be getting around 3m next year - though it may well not be with the Sharks. :(

6. Bibeau's not ready. Yeah, he and Korenar have been doing well overall this season, but Bibeau's numbers have slid lately and he's under .9 right now - and please bear in mind that the Sharks have struggled all season with rocky goaltending. They're unlikely to move him up next year, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Korenar leapfrog him for the backup goalie position when Dell's contract expires in 202.

7. Timo Meier is on pace for a 30+ goal season and has already crossed the 60 point mark and is having a break out year, almost doubling his previous best. I would put money on him getting more than 4.5 and I would also put money on him getting more than a 3 year contract.

8. The way you've got it set up, they'd be negotiating new contracts with Hertl, Meier, Labanc, and possibly Pavelski in the same year. That's just shooting yourself in the foot - you don't really want three of your best young players to be up for raises the same year.

9. Goodrow is absolutely not strong enough to anchor the third line. I strongly suspect you'll see Thornton in that spot again next season, but if he's not coming back then the Sharks are going to have to work some magic to fill that hole.

10. While Braun is certainly having an off year, trading both him and a 2nd round pick would definitely be drastically overpaying for a decent forward prospect, especially considering how many decent forwards the Sharks have in their pipeline.
