Top 6 Is questionable. We could see laf kreids/buch and Mika again. I would change PDG to the third with Chytil at center and gauts at rw.

1 rangers won’t trade Kakko. 2 rangers wouldn’t be adding a 5th a 3rd and a 1st with Strome and George for suban and Kane. George is the far better goaltender than suban also rangers wouldnt trade for a aging player when they are looking to win in the next couple of seasons not the now.

Personally Gabe first line at c. Paul second, David 3rd Getz fourth and move Stepan to the wing. You could mess with the d pairings but if u want to keep them on their proper side that’s up to u

As Nils is 20 and will be NHL ready by next year. Philly has shown he is NHL ready and has been solid and will move up to the second line in the coming months. Brett is the only future here for me. As this Columbus team is strong and I think could make the playoffs, I still think they are a first or second round exit.

Wingers are solid asf. Center Core could use some help, goaltending is solid. Only thing that would be wrong with this Team for me would be LD.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>Okay, so he doesn’t want to stay in columbus. So what? Who cares? He doesn’t want to be there two years from when he’s an RFA? So what? Go sign an offer sheet. He won’t because columbus can just match.
Let’s say fox tweeted out tomorrow “turns out I hate it here, I don’t want to be in NYC.” Awesome player, team control for a while. What would you be saying if everyone was offering a third pair d, a third center, a late first, and some prospect for him? Would you be saying, “welp, he wants out, guess the rangers need to take this deal!”
It’s a flaw in your logic.
There is zero motivation for the jackets to move PLD for below a very high valuation of his market value.</div></div>
It’s kinda funny because your leaving the part out where he doesn’t want to stay there and has informed the gm. Which does not gone likely in the locker room which leads to miss leading chemistry. When’s the last time you saw a player ask for a trade and the GM said no you will finish your contract here. His future does not want to be in Columbus p. I read a whole article about this. Also the trade value is up to par a third line center that just had a amazing season. A second line up and coming center that who is just 21 and has showed great strides, a late first, a B plus level defensive prospect, a prospect that just had a amazing WJC
Would be up to par in my eyes if Columbus had no better offer. As I think this offer would try to be countered with a center piece like laf or Kakko which simply wouldn’t happen. As while u keep on saying there is no motivation to move PLD out of Columbus, There has been insiders that have heard trade talk between teams about PLD. So I would check that if I were you.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>Well, he’s signed for two years, but then he’s an RFA with arb rights, and then he’s an RFA with arb rights the year after that too. Not likely columbus should be in a hurry.
It’s also not like this is a new story. Players have wanted out of small markets forever. Normally it doesn’t hit the media, but it’s not like it means they have to move him for whatever they can get. Shea Weber hated Nashville. Worked out there for quite some time.
The jackets are not motivated to sell right now. They may, long term, see that they have to move the player, but there is absolutely zero need to move quickly.</div></div>
Bro Elliot Friedman said they were looking to shop him by the deadline. Looks at his recents tweets and it was also on TSN

Also that will add up to abt 18-25 mil in cap. When u add on PLD it could go to 25-32 mil

2. Why would he be tainted? That situation comes in three years when he’s getting close to UFA.</div></div>
Do you not understand what requesting a trade is?
It means he doesn’t want to be in Columbus and won’t even make it to UFA period. He wants to have little time this season in Columbus. So his value will be tainted to get him out of Columbus. As tho I’m the highest fan abt getting him this is the right value to get him. Also yes very much had came out since he signed 5 mil x 2. He would of signed a long term deal if he wanted to stay in Columbus.

As I think about it more I think Chytil should swap with Strome because philly is a up and coming center and is a true future 2C and is only 22. would make more sense for Columbus to accept one with Chytil in it.
