Playoffs with Chytil
I agree with that line up but I honestly think we are going to see more of Rempe than people think. I see a 4th that has cuylle, goody, rempe, edstrom rotation to have a solid checking line to wear down the other side. Cuylle seeing some 3rd line time. Then I see brodz as a fill in for goody to give rest as needed. Chytil, Rosy, Vesey will likely have some form of rotation for 2 positions. But he only real constants I think we will see is bred/troch/laf/zib/kreid/wenn/kakko(if he’s playing well). Chytil would be there also if 💯 .

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>Just because officials have let him get away with controversial, reckless, and extremely dangerous checks to the head, boarding, and charging on many occasions, doesn't mean it is ok. I stand by my previous comments. As I stated previously, I think that is desirable to a lot of teams, but from what I understand about Kyle Davidson's plan, he doesn't want anything to do with that sort of play. Not that he doesn't want his players to play with some level of physicality, but he wants it to be "by the book."
What does it matter to you, anyway? Don't you want to keep him? Are you trying to sell him to me? And, if so, why are you trying to sell him?</div></div>
😂 “Player Safety” has reviewed all of those hits that you and a few crybabies don’t like. Officials “let him get away with it” but then the player safety confirms it was a legal hit. You don’t have to like the hit but it doesn’t change that it was legal. Maybe hockey is too rough a sport for ya.

In its simplest form.. your initial statement couldn’t be more wrong. The furthest from the truth some may say. Here is an example of an equally wrong comment; “Bedard isn’t ready for the NHL”

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>What is your point here? I am not trying to give you some hot take, I am being objective, and he makes a lot questionable and objectively dirty goony/scumbag plays on the ice. That is just a fact. It has nothing to do with how I personally feel about him or whether I personally would like a player like that on my team. In fact, I think he seems like a pretty good dude off the ice and certainly does play a style that is desirable to the right teams in the right situation. It has to do with the kind of roster, play-style, and culture, Kyle Davidson is trying to build in CHI, and I don't think the way Trouba plays would fit his vision.
Honestly, I never really thought he fit with the Rangers either. I think they were trying to force some gritty tough guy identity into a lineup filled with motor and skill, and got the balance all wrong, which lead to NYR missing out on a large portion of their window of contention. I think there were other ways the Rangers could've added grit to the lineup without trading valuable assets for and committing such a large portion of their cap to him. And, on a similar note, although I do like Panarin in their lineup, I think that by rushing things and shoe-horning Panarin and Trouba into the lineup they artificially put their rebuild on the back burner and messed with the development of some of their prized prospects, possibly screwing some of them up beyond repair, and burying others in depth that will be difficult for them to overcome, forcing them into roles that they shouldn't be in.
I'm not crying about anything. I just don't think he fits with CHI unless he is willing to pivot from a tough guy contender mentality, to more of a mentor role. Which is not something I see him being willing to do at this stage of his career. Considering he has a 15 team No Trade List, I'd be willing to bet CHI is on it.</div></div>
A big body check that is clean isn’t “dirty and goonie” it’s part of the game and he’s one of(if not THE) best at it. You want protection and mentors, he is just that 😂 you getting the point now?!

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>The only way I think CHI would be willing to acquire Trouba is if he is willing to stop being such an unnecessarily dirty scumbag on the ice and take on more of a mentor/protector role, rather than an enforcer/goon. If so, I think he could be a great mentor to our young dmen, to help them build defensive skills and physicality. But I very much doubt he would be willing to do that. That dude wants to win.</div></div>
What a hot take. How many times has he been suspended in 3 years? How many bone crushing hits has he thrown in those 3 years that have had people like yourself in tears because you think it’s dirty

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Montreal1st</b></div><div>To be fair, Anderson is younger and a huge body. Would NYR find value in that when considering that Anderson has either scored 20+ goals per year/or on pace to, except this season. Again, the gamble is similar to Chytil....injury history.</div></div>
Anderson has an inch and 12 lbs on Goodrow. We have bodies that are far bigger than Anderson on NYR. He might have fit the bill for NYR 3 years ago but today they don’t need size. 1 for 1 it’s a no. The cap space is a waste to make this trade. Let alone adding Chytil who has concussion concerns but let’s be realistic, he’s really good on ice when healthy. It’s in NYR best interest to keep Chytil whether he plays a game or 12 seasons. As for Goodrow they can buy him out if they really need to lose him. The buyout gains additional money on NYR cap. Makes no sense to trade for a worse cap situation or to pay anything to dump him

Not saying this deal would get it done by any means but NYR is definitely not “paying for a cap dump” in this situation.</div></div>
Goodrow was structured for a buyout. He’s half the cap hit as Anderson. Both overpaid and underachieving no doubt. 1 for 1 and NYR pass.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hckeydude123</b></div><div>Kaliyev+4th?
Kaliyev career stats: 188gp 77points
Kakko career stats: 294gp 117points.
106gp difference between them and 40points. Very similar players but Kakko has a higher ceiling which I believe a 4th round pick maybe a 3rd is fair enough to cover.</div></div>
So fun idea for you and some fans may agree on a price that you’re comfortable paying but the issue is Drury doesn’t want/need to move Kakko. He’s being patient like he was with Laf. Kakko is going through the hottest stretch of his career as we speak. Now funny how fan bases said trade Laf for scraps and hope for the best since Laf was already chopped liver and written off yet here he is scoring 5v5 better than aho, Hughes, McJesus, Tkachuk, petterson, Kaprizov, Robertson amongst others. Most players that get pp1 time collect 1/3 of their points on the PP so now if you put Laf on the PP1 he would be putting up 85-95 points while scoring 40-45 goals. Now the hot take crowd has turned to Kakko who is still trending better than guys like Nichushkin was. Kakko won’t be moved unless a GM values him more than drury and I can guarantee that’s not the case

Kaprizov Switches Locker Rooms
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ac3L1ght</b></div><div>Uh, not really.
If you REALLY wanted Kaprizov, it would probably cost you:
Mikko Rantanen
Jean-Luc Foudy
Riley Tufte
Ivan Ivan
A Goalie Prospect
2024 1st Rounder
2025 1st Rounder (Which you don't have)
And a few lower down picks
If you want this man so bad, you should yell at your scouts.</div></div>
That’s a bit extreme. The difference between Kap and Rant is minimal and the main factor to their differences in value is mainly the additional year of term. If they both made the exact cap hit and had the same term they would be a 1 for 1 and maybe a mid pick/prospect to balance
