That and there are 2 very good goalies available at the same time
Ilya Sorokin and Connor Hellebuyck
Like honestly being stuck with 5 years of Campbell who's resume is 1 year starter or Kuemper whose 32 and is very streaky and could become Grubauer or Bobrosky 2.0 would make me more nervous as if they suck your stuck but if Samsonov thrives but Murray meh pay a 2nd dump him to Chicago with 1 year left and try again.
Also yeah Bunting aint getting alot agreed
I feel hes gonna sign a deal similar to what Paul signed for

Really nice and refreshing to read a courteous and gentlemanly (is it still okay to use a gender-specific term like that?) exchange between fans genuinely interested in learning from each other and not pissing on other people's shoes. Thanks to the four of you.

Habs 2022-23

Quoting: Campabee

You missed the point, guess I need to spoon feed you again.
most again most Habs ACGM's created by Habs fans have the values of the players you pointed out as being what I said above. You can cherry pick the bad ACGM's all you want but that does not make those ones right. In fact I am willing to bet that the only reason half those ACGM's are selling our players short is cause those fans were tires of having to defend their positions to Habs trolls like you. You always come on every single Habs ACGM and crap on it.

No, I come on every single truly awful Habs ACGM and crap on THEM. You falsely assume that because I and other fans bash ridiculously bad Montreal ACGMs, we therefore bash all Montreal ACGMs. This is known as The Fallacy of the Undistributed Middle. On the contrary: we aren’t anti-Montreal in general, we just strenuously object to really bad postings from a clique of clueless Montreal homers who habitually overrate their players. We don’t criticize Habs posts because we’re biased, we attack them on merit – or, more accurately, lack thereof. The reason why you perceive our comments as constantly negative is simply that you are confronted by our objections to those terrible constructions which agree with your own misjudgments. For example, before last week’s draft, that segment of Habs fans posted a series of ACGMs advocating Josh Anderson trades that grew more exaggerated and fanciful with each day, beginning with Anderson and the 26 t h overall pick for #13 and progressing from there to increasingly absurd heights, culminating with one ACGM in which one of you suggested that Anderson and #26 was worth the second overall selection. Remember this one?
https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/3384239
Second overall, indeed.
We’ll stop rejecting every awful Montreal ACGM when you guys stop publishing them.
One final note: the issue here isn’t whether I or anyone else is anti-Canadien or what the best value for any Canadien player is. The issue is the impropriety of calling someone a troll simply because his trade values are different from yours. You have no defense to my proof that his trades mirror trade proposals made by self-professed Montreal fans who are not trolls, so you simply dismiss the proof as if it didn’t exist and then go on to the irrelevant point that many Montreal fans disagree with each other on evaluations. But the proof is there, and it is unrefuted.

Quoting: Campabee

Those are outliers. Most Habs fans trades are Allen for a 2nd or 3rd (so I will give you that one)
Drouin half retained for a late first or 2nd at the deadline
Dvorak is most commonly traded for a 1st + 3rd a 1st min. Also his value according to guys like Lebrun, Freidman and Seravelli has remained close to what the Habs paid for him.
Petry's most common trade is Dellandria or Stranges + 2nd or a 1st + Khudobin
Just cause you can find similar trades posted by Habs fans doesn't automatically make that their values. I know of at least 2 Leafs fans who want to trade Nylander for Anderson straight up. Does that mean Nylander's value is just Anderson 1 for 1? No it just means that those fans don't value Nylander as much as other Leafs fans. The same can be said for just about any other fan base on this site.

My point isn't that every Montreal fan I quoted is perfectly accurate -- my point is that if Montreal fans think that these are reasonable values no matter what your opinion is (and why should anyone believe your opinion is superior to Minimont's or ppp's or RoyBoy's or anyone else I cited?), then you should not be accusing people of trolling because obviously the OP's post is within reason. Maybe the outliers are the Habs extremists are the guys who thought (and apparently still think) that "Anderson was almost packaged for second overall" despite any actual evidence of that dream.

Much better than your last effort, and pretty close.
Kempe at $5.5 million, Durzi at $1.5 million and Spence back to Ontario (replaced by Walker) solves the cap problem.
Kempe - Kopitar - Fiala, Moore - Danault - Arvidsson, Iafallo - Byfield - Kaliyev, Kupari - Lizotte - Vilardi is my best guess before training camp.
Thanks for taking an interest!

Ignore this Pens fan. He's an insecure troll who picks fights. The hockey knowledge just isn't there. It's basically pretending all Pens players are all stars and future Hall of famers. He's been obsessing about Detroit trading a 2nd for Pettersson for months. It isn't happening. A 3rd is fair. Frankly I don't even care if this trade happens. I'm sick of hearing about it. If Pettersson is so great he wouldn't be available.

Compher is a good player, but the draft is important to Seattle (possibly moreso than other teams given how thin their prospect pool is) and in all likelihood Seattle's own pick will be their second highest selection next season, in a deep draft. I don't see it--again not for any 2nd rounder even--but stranger things have happened and we're all just shooting theories here!

Thought process is unless we are spending 5M+ on Kemper, then there isn't a good pool of goalies. I would rather keep him at least until TDL and see how he does and maybe keep him depending on play, or trade him with assets for the hot goalie of the year.

I think that this gives them another good shot a deep playoff run, good forward group, still a pretty solid defense lineup, and a better goaltending duo between the two of them. They can give them closer to equal amount of starts and still take home Ws

Here's what we all need to say: Philadelphia wouldn't trade either one of those players for that package, and the fact that Sanheim is then flipped in that Garland overpayment makes me suspect that the OP doesn't know who Sanheim is.
