<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jpsnow13</b></div><div>Sorry but I disagree twice:
1) Anderson's next contract wont be even close to this. More in the 3-4M range. Baertshi's is the best comparable.
2) CLB has 0% chance of resigning Domi. The whole point of this deal is to walk him stait to free agency so he can pick his team of choice.</div></div>
I agree. I hate how the habs are gonna overpay Anderson. he is at best a middle 6 winger.

I think the AAV is a bit much considering that he had a down year and it leads him to UFA after so that isn't good either but he can be a very good 2C for them if he picks up his defensive game a bit more

you cant take ****s like that seriously when they have Stutzle at 2, Raymond at 8, Quinn at 9, Holtz at 10, Guhle and Schneider in the 1st round, and Mukhamadullin in the 1st round.

im sorry but that is a stupid point and unless you draft drysdale there is no point of taking a dman in the 1st round. They should upgrade their wingers so then Hughes and Hischer have some good wingers on their side. tbh taking sanderson in the top 10 is stupid imo.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ivan092033</b></div><div>Idk why you base a mock off personal preference. A mock is based on what the teams think of players. LA scouts are leaning more towards Stutzle. Maybe some of these d men aren't first rounders but every year teams end up reaching for d men. Guhle is solid Schneider too. Teams think they can improve a players weaknesses with coaching which means that you cant always draft a perfect player. Mukhamadullin is definitely coachable and can be turned into a very good dman</div></div>
I agree which is why Tim Stutzle is still in the top 3 for my mock draft if if was just rankings he would be in the 6-8 range. Wallinder and Grans are good and I think they should be in the 1st round same with villeneuve but that is just ceiling. Its just that yes you need a dman but you could wait until the 2nd round where villeneuve, Porier, and others will wait and also the 2021 draft is stacked with dman and there is something called trading for a reason. I think Guhle and Schneider are nightmares in the 1st round when you could take a forward with top line upside and they only have 2nd pair upside. Lastly you can't teach hockey IQ to someone. you can only do so much for Mukhamadullin but he just doesn't have the hockey IQ which is way to valuable to neglect

Points don't mean **** fam. Mukhamadullin has a non-existent hockey iq and is just big and strong. Also Kaiden Guhle has no business being in the 1st round same with Schneider and Barron. Barron is good but too risky imo. Schneider and Guhle are safe picks and you would be better off getting someone like Wallinder or Grans instead. Also Byfield>>>Stutzle imo.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RomanovTheAnswer</b></div><div>Nope. If you actually watched the Habs games this past season, you'd notice the two gaping issues in the Habs success were: 1. Lack of scoring. No trigger man, IT-factor offensive guy. 2. Gigantic hole on LHD.
Each LHD had their positives, but the OBVIOUS problem was their lack of toughness around the crease, failure to get the puck out of the d-zone, and atrocious communication and defensive positioning. Petry, Weber and occasionally Chariot (once his place was found) were the only defensemen who effectively defended. Mete showed light in moving the puck out quickly, but a vast majority of the time was caught up too high, late coming back, failing to take the offender off the puck, along with leaving players open. It only got worst from here.
Kulak was absolutely useless 70% of his time MTL. Anything wrong with any of the other LHD, he managed to be worst. His positive play was only introduced during the play-in. Fleury struggled due to his age and lack of experience, that's all; a bright future. Oullette was beyond useless. Did not help with anything other than basic competence. Chariot took time, luckily proved to be a much bigger upgrade over Jordie Benn and also a much better overall player than Mete. The REASON the Habs LOST at least 50% of their regular-season games was due to atrocious defending, and it doesn't take a sports scientist to see that the Left side of defense was to blame.</div></div>
you are clearly stupid yes we may need puck moving dman to get the puck out of our zone but Mete and Kulak are still effective. Clearly you don't know enough about hockey to relise that this is a pretty bad signing as it will stunt the development of Mete, FLeury, and Brook. Tbh if we wanted to fill the LHD hole why wouldn't you just trade Petry and an asset for Brodin.

in a way you are. It isn't ideal to spend 12 mill on 2 tendys also unless they make moves they are capped out so they can't rn. They don't even need Fleury when Lundqvist and Greiss will hit the market.

how fam. Lets say Poehling, Romanov, and Primeau are out of the question but even if we do give Suzuki and KK bridge deals we will still be spending 28 mill on 4 players (petry, weber, price, edmundson) So unless they don't want big bucks when they get out of their ELCs we are ****ed in a way. However that isn't even too much of the reason why I am pissed. We will be overpaying another guy. It aint like we are spending 15 mill on tendys and we gave Edmundson who is a 6/7th dman a big deal. If you are happy with this signing you know nothing about hockey. If I wanted to give big bucks to a guy I wouldn't target Petry I'd get a LD so then we have a top 4 RHD slot to properly develop Mete or Brook or Fleury when that time comes. You are probably one of those people who liked the edmundson signing. Clearly you are a yes man who likes every move Mr.Incompetent (MB) makes.
