I've also been doing other teams as well, so I'm not just singling out one team. Yall had 100+ points but were very ineffective in the playoffs. I will say most of it was your coaching, but your "big" players were pretty much silenced.</div></div>
Our big players were silent, but I wonder how much injuries affected the team. Kirill was never the same after his injury and only had 2 games to get ready before the playoffs and our 2nd best forward in JEEK missed the whole playoffs. Imo missing Ek was bigger than Kirill being silent. But Kirill was quiet vs Deboar and the Golden Knights previously so maybe they just know how to shut him down. But I'd also say some of Kirill's effectiveness works off of Zuccarello who was a totally different player in the 2nd half of the season (in a bad way). Really the Wild were just outmatched, the Wild needed coaching to win them the series because talent wise they weren't gonna do it and the coaching was bad. Unfortunately Wild can't really do anything in the off season so they are just gonna run it back and hope coaching can be better. Can't win a series when your PK is 50% and you take 5 penalties a game lol.

Bruins back to the top
Orlov probably gets closer to $6.5m, O'Reilly probably closer to $6m, Bertuzzi closer to $6m. You're insane to trade Ullmark for nothing, he will get a 1st from someone. I also think you could get some more back for Hall, and quite a lot more for Gryz. I don't hate the lineup though.
Although I personally think Ullmark should stay, he had 6 bad games while injured and now everyone wants to trade our (soon-to-be) Vezina-winning .938 goalie. Plus the fact the Ullmark splits starts with Swayman is the reason Swayman is so good. Give him 55+ games and he will probably not look the same.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Justin_LetsGoStars</b></div><div>You need to build a 22 man roster. No GM ices a team with no scratches. Try to make a 22 man roster with the cap. I also believe the cap ceiling is only going up a mil, so to $83.5M.
Also, I would hope they get at least a high second round pick (especially from CHI) to obtain Yammy, and this team doesn't look like a contender. I'm sure not if that third line is effective at all, but this team looks like a two line team.</div></div>
Yama isn't close to being worth a 2nd, you've got to be kidding. He's a RFA, but arbitration eligible and hasn't looked that great, lacks consistency and away from LD or McDavid does not look good.

Sharks aren’t taking Campbell on for that little of compensation while trading a 23 yo who had 8 points in 11 games with San Jose this year

This year? Yeah I agree.
Overall? Nah.
Matthews at his best is literally the best goal scorer on the planet. His goals per game ratio is also greatest of all time (0.62 per game). I'd love to have a guy like that in my team.
That said, I'm also content with keeping Robo.

Why do the Wild being one of two teams with 100 points in the west the last 2 seasons need to "rebuild the roster"?
They can go into next season with pretty much the same team, bring in some of the younger guys like hopefully Rossi and Beckman. Continue developing the guys like Lambos, Hunt, Peart in the minors. The European prospects stay in Sweden and Russia until Fall 2024 (as Michael Russo has stated numerous times). Then just as the young guys take over more of the roster they will literally have $30-40 million to add from free agency in 2 years.
It feels like a Stars fan poking the bear here. No way they move Foligno for a 6th round pick.

Sens absolutely do not want and are not taking tony d under any circumstances. even all of his stuff aside, idk a team with LESS need of a offensive dman power play specialist. chabot, sanderson, chychrun, brannstrom are all above him on the depth chart

He's been ok in the playoffs for the Stars, but he scored 67 points and is almost a PPG in the playoffs, He'll be getting more than $5M in Free Agency and Dallas couldn't really afford him with Roope's contract extension coming in to play. If Suter gets bought out then maybe, but we have Stanky coming up to fill in on either the Benn line or Seguin line.</div></div>
Suter bought out twice, lol. I loathe that guy.

Everything being equal, nobody rushing to Arizona in free agency. Arizona drafted their version of lafreniere in geekie and they aren’t trading soderstrom for nothing at the moment. Guenther probably ready for full time duty next year after trip to memorial cup this year, the buys should be 28 year old ufas that could catch a 5 year window for ya. Possibly dumba and severson and keep drafting

signing a 37 year old goalie to a 3M deal seems like a poor idea. Better off just having someone like LA or Toronto to pay you to take on their extra goalie again

6 million for a guy who's scored over 40 points once in his career at the age of 28 is pretty poor cap management. Geez Kerfoot has one of those under his belt and people say 3.5 for him was too much.

No chance Sharks are letting Peterson go. 1. He's a Swede and we're hording those and 2. he looked like a legit top 6 forward in his stint with us. He's like Barabanov but with great defensive instincts

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Justin_LetsGoStars</b></div><div>Yeah, I wasn't too sure on this. His stats totals weren't anything impressive so I didn't know if his value was more on the defensive side or if he plays on the PK. I could see something like 2.5-4.5M for a guy like him depending on a)if teams actually want a him on the team and b)what his skillset actually is.</div></div>
Mostly it's his defensive game that's going to be the draw for him, along with his size. He was relied on pretty heavily for defensive assignments, and was probably one of the Isles better players in terms of shot suppression. He also led the Isles in minutes/game on the PK. I'm not sure if he's worth the 4 - 4.5 million, but I'm fairly certain he'll get it unless he takes less to play somewhere specific.

I mean...realistically...Wilson is pretty much exactly what we would want Knies to develop in to...so value wise it isn't terrible, particularly with the rentention...but as the comment above notes...Leafs need to hope they can ride Knies and his entry level deal to some quality top 6 minutes
