<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CBrown1919</b></div><div>I dont think he can either.... hence why I stated, worst case scenario. I also dont think Suomela is NHL ready, after last years performance between the NHL and AHL. But this is all assuming they only add Jumbo and Marleau. I would at least like to think Sorenson could do similar to what Donskoi did on the 2nd line until we find a solution. And right now I'm not sure the solution is someone currently inside the organization.</div></div>

Chekhovich is more suited to top six even without experience. One of Chekhovich, Chmelevski or True will make the team out of camp. Maybe even two of them. Sorensen plays a classic third line role being feisty, energetic and chipping goals in here and there. He and Jumbo compliment each other too well to break them up.

I suspect Suomela will be the 13th forward this year, being scratched often.

Sharks have Gambrells 19-20 minors salary really low at 100k and really high in 20-21 at 700k meaning they likely expect him to spend a bulk of his time in the AHL this season and playing more in the NHL next year.

I see Prout, Viel and Bergmann getting some playing time this year too as call-ups especially in the absence of Haley against more physical teams like Vegas and Anaheim and now Calgary with Lucic. I fully expect Doug to find a way to move Melker as a guy like True can play that role just as good with more scoring potential.

All in all though, this roster is still high quality and still enough to get in the playoffs.
