We don't have the cap space and we already have Schultz, Marino, and Letang on the right side. I just don't see the need

Pens All in for the Stanley Cup Trades with LA and NYR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>Yea for sure. I think Pittsburgh regrets letting Fleury go.</div></div>
I mean, hindsight is 20/20. Fleury wanted a bigger contract, Murray comes at half the price and Jarry is below league minimum this season. It allows them much more cap flexibility.

In a perfect world I would keep Deangelo, but Fox is playing very well and Deangelo is not a need, will demand (and should receive) a lot of money, and in the long run I would rather have money in store for our youth and other future pending UFAs. If NYR did not have Fox, I would not want to deal Deangelo.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>That’s cool with me. Pittsburgh probably wins the cup with these moves.</div></div>
I can see that, Jarry has been tremendous as well, Murray may be expendable next season if he continues to get outplayed by Jarry. That's another asset the Penguins can move to restock the picks they are trading at the deadline.

Not sure about the Wennberg/Turris swap.
Turris is the better player by far, but is owed more money and term. Wennberg has been terrible, but a change of scenery would do some good

Sabres fans We are not dealing Tuch For Risto
Not a sabres fan - God what a bad take. Master of turnovers? He has 18 give aways this season in 41 games, Tuch has 17 give aways 15 less games. Tuch has 64.2% offensive zone starts and still only has a 50% corsi. While Risto has a 46.6% oZS and has 50% corsi. Vegas needs a powerplay QB because Theordore really isnt that impressive of an option. Tuch for Risto would be an absolute steal for Vegas and they would be stupid not to take it.
PS. Not a Buffalo fan in case you didnt read it the first time

Don't think the Sabres could afford that, but NJD was brought up as someone who was possibly calling about Scandella. Maybe they weren't talking about Scandella with Buffalo, but they were asking about Erod, and you hit the nail on the head with this trade lol. <a href="/users/ExpiredmilkYT" target="_blank">@ExpiredmilkYT</a> is saying its (Scandella trade) a 3 way for Frolik though? Strome Namestnikov Shatten
I'm not sure that Shattenkirk would thrive in Dallas's system like he does an a more offensive system like Tampa. Toronto and Vegas are more likely destinations for him probably in the offseason via FA.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>Safe to say blues are out then?</div></div>
I don't think they're actually in past being curious about the price, to be honest. We're not going to empty our top NHL-ready forward prospects shelf for a rental. Nor do we need to at this point. If, say, Schenn goes down for the season, then maybe we'll talk.

Offers for Ryan Strome
Recall that Tavares was out for a couple of weeks with his finger injury. Also not only him, but some capable linemates of his has suffered injuries. He's not exactly comparable to Strome, who has been pretty much carried by Panarin this year...
I'd offer a 2nd+prospect for Strome. I'd like to see him playing in that level without Panarin before giving up too much for him. If he performs in the same level that for example Zibanejad plays, then I'd consider him much more valuable asset.

BLUES FANS- You guys fan of this deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>What about
Who would you sub in for Kostin?</div></div>
It’s fine as is with a Kreider extension. I’m biased because I originally proposed it.
Kostin is the right piece because the Blues are stockpiled with wingers. Kyrou is ahead of Kostin. That’s just a fact and he has a higher ceiling. Kyrou is playing because Blais and Tarasenko are hurt.
Looking past this year
Kreider ROR Perron
Schwartz Schenn Tarasenko
Blais Thomas Kyrou
MacMac Barbashev Sundqvist
That’s with no Steen or Bozak with plenty of options to fill in for injuries. Where does Kostin fit in that lineup? He needs top 9 minutes so the 4th line really isn’t an option
If Steen and Bozak are on the roster it makes it even harder for Kostin.

AA’s poor season and cap constraints makes me believe that Rangers would turn this down. Good targets for Detroit though.

Now that Im done crying about Jake - We get a new Jake
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>100% agree. Pens should be healthy for the playoffs and an acquisition like Kreider will put the Pens back in serious contention. GMJR has balls unlike some other GM’s so he’s not scared of trading a pick and prospect for a game changer. Appreciate that confidence from a GM in his club.</div></div>
I think we are all just praying Jake is healthy by playoffs. It was like some kicked me in the b**** and the pain has never stopped since hearing the news, lol
But u are right about GMJR, he will do what ever it takes to replace Jakes scoring... It scares many fans here how he is here but Im like u and I love how bold he is.

Yah, Ive been trading for Kreider for around 4yrs now, lol
I really think with his speed and size, he could turn into even a better winger for Sid than Kunitz. He is just a perfect guy for Sid and Kunitz also got traded here around the same age as Kreider.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>How tf did you guys get him in the third????</div></div>
He slid. He had a 2nd round grade, one of the best skaters in the draft but his offense was questionable. Thought for sure B’s were taking him in the 2nd, Sweeney type of player and still on the board. Was surprised he was still there in the 3rd.

Boston All In for The Cup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JokiharjuForNylanderLMAO</b></div><div>Who do you think says no</div></div>
Honestly, probably both. B's had a 1st round grade on Lauko (also currently injured) and hes impressed at camps, so I dont see them moving him. For the Rangers side, I think someone would step up and include a first on a deal and maybe do quality over quantity. Lauko is probably the best piece in the deal but he still not a guy they could count on to be a contributor at the NHL level for another 2 years.
Again I dont think the value is bad, but I think another team steps up and beats that offer.

In all honesty Ranger fans, just press Bowman a little bit and he may give you Vlasic. Don't forget that we gave up Jokiharju for ALEX nylander. So yea! Go nuts and give it a shot, honestly might work!
