What is Millers trade value
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sleeparc</b></div><div>a lot more than that with retention. Poulin isn't even playing right so his value is zero. Kapanen is having a terrible year so his value is very low and the 1st the only thing of real value but it's not even enough to get Miller without retention.</div></div>
Poulin is still young his value is way more than zero.
Kappi should be no value but your president of hockey operations is Jim Rutherford he would skate through fire on centimeter thick ice just to tie kappi's skates.
We might need to add something else but this is close to a deal Vancouver excepts

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mv21227</b></div><div>Not when we already have too many wingers. Maybe Pearson for Kapanen, otherwise no interest from the Canucks</div></div>
u say no interest from the canucks but even if we took pearson there would still be no interest from pretty much every canuck EXCEPT THE ONE WHO'S DECSISON IT IS! Trust us we know JR, you'll trade another winger or pay someone else to take Pearson. But Rutherford will deffently be all over Kappi at the deadline, no doubt about that. It sucks for you guys. But I guess its JR's one flaw is he's in love with Kapanen.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hawksguy81</b></div><div>Domi half retained probably costs the 2023 2nd only. He has looked pretty good centering Hawks top line. Winning well over 50% at the dot. Very active in the O zone and not the black hole on D everyone on here claims he is and his dumb penalties are down too. He doesn't hit and he won't drop the mitts but the Hawks don't ask him to do that.
As an aside, the Hawks would probably take Dumo for that 2023 3rd if Pens are really just looking to offload him</div></div>
Ok good, haven't watched Chicago play much this year but knew he was better as a winger in previous seasons. As to his asking price, I can't really gage the price right, hopefully your right.
And I'm gonna go out on a Limb and guess that Chicago is on Dumillons no Trade list. it would most certainly be on mine.

The team is on a 7 game win streak. I mean he’s not playing great and needs to be better, but he’s not terrible either. I mean he hasn’t had the greatest support on line mates either. His best line mate this year is McGinn and that’s not good. Heinen and Kapanen have been bigger disappointments and while Kappy was great for a few games after coming back and hasn’t been terrible since, the team needs more from him. Especially scoring wise. Same with Heinen. I’d be willing to bet Heinen and/or Kap ride the pine or find a new team before Carter does.</div></div>

Also I think kappi will find a new team but i think we get a third line center in return. Unfortunately we can’t trade carter

I don’t need to be apart of the team to know he’s playing terrible. I have eyes. If u meant am i on the team to knoe we’re gonna scratch him, no, its called “speculation” just like everything on this app is. And if u gad eyes ud know Carter was 100% the problem. We will likely trade or waive kappy unless he turns it around. Oh, and Mcginn who’s “not good” has 13 points.

1. your GM is Jim Rutterford so as much as it sucks for you guys Kappi is anything but a cap dump..... he is in love with him. 2 you are getting one of the top goaltending prospects in hockey..... do you want Lindberg instead because Blomqvist is better

Fair point, that actually really makes things complicated then because you guys are probably the only team willing to take Kappi without us giving up a first. Obviously he would be C 3 if he was here so he really doesn't make sense.
I'd say just do Brock instead and put Domi at center but then I doubt you guys want to retain salary for Bo where he's not a UFA but we can't make anything work without salary retained.
Thanks for pointing this out

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>klassic</b></div><div>Where is the compensation for taking on McGinn's contract?</div></div>
There is none, are serious? He has 13 points already is a great penalty killer and only makes 2.75 for 3 years and he'll still be on the right side of 30 when the contracts ends.......... if you want "compensation for taking on McGinn's contract we'll trade him to one of the many teams who would actually give us something for him.
Any black Hawks fan I have talked to says they would want him if it were a throw in which it clearly is. Great guy to either provide some good during a rebuild, (penalty killing is huge in making games not unbearable) or flip to someone next off season.
