Klingberg is demanding to be traded out of Dallas - who says he would re-sign there if he was willing to do a 3 or 4 by $5-$6. And right now... BIG difference between where Dallas is at and where Toronto is at re: Stanley Cup aspirations!

On what planet?!!? Leafs should take this deal in a heart beat! Klingberg > Holl - compensation to even the value out is Robertson - #1 pick comp for the retention + Kivirantha - GIDDY UP!

Leafs should then sign Klingberg to a 3 or 4 year deal for around $5m-$6m (if possible). He would be an excellent compliment to Muzzin on the 2nd pairing. Allowing Muzzin to only focus on the defensive side of things - which is what he does best - when paired with Holl he has to worry about defense and transition and offense- too much for Jake to handle.

Rielly is HARDLY a defensive stalwart! Dermot is just as good in his own end, and even more physical than Rielly. Better PK option too. Plus, you have to let Sandin take on more of a QB role eventually!
