Clearly you haven’t done enough research, all these goalies above were moved for 1st plus and I’d say only 1-2 of them produced as well as Ullmark has over the last 3 years.
Ullmark averages a .923 SV% / 2.30 GAA / 88 wins in a 130
Games. I don’t see how he doesn’t return a 1st</div></div>
Fair enough happens more than I realized. Still do not think he gets anywhere close to the return in this deal though....

Big Kings trade
I would be suprised if the Kings cut bait this fast on PLD especially if they need to retain for 7 years. Also do not think Ullmark will get a first plus. Goalies rarely go for that much, the only goalie I can even think of who returned a 1st would be Ryan Miller going to the blues, and worked out pretty bad for them lol.

BIG MOVES - TRELIVING
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>kman0101</b></div><div>I think Marner could/would be extended in WSH...</div></div>
Maybe, but that team has been heading the wrong direction for a while now and I am not sure that Marner does enough to keep them competitive. If they did end up missing the playoffs I think they would have a hard time convincing Marner to stay given the age and direction of the team. Still definitely more interesting of a trade than I originally gave you credit for so that is my B.

BIG MOVES - TRELIVING
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>kman0101</b></div><div>on what basis? Especially the WSH one? Getting rid of two aging players for a top teir playmaker who all but assures Ovi gets the record... Backstrom is done. I actually think this deal is VERY risky for the leafs...</div></div>
On the basis that Marner is a rental with full trade protection so if they make the deal and it doesn't work out they flipped all those assets in exchange for an overpaid reaves and mid-tier prospect. I will admit that deal is at the very least interesting and probably closer than I gave credit for...as for the other two the hawks can fill bottom 6 spots without giving up picks and Lili is not worth a 2nd.

The hawks obviously shoot that down. We wouldn't take those two contracts for FC.....Also doubt Wash or Utah accept those.

What was the rush to sign him long-term???? Sorry but this guy is a 3rd pairing dman. Hate the risk to this.</div></div>
He already has some of the best defensive numbers out of all the dmen in the league. So not sure what about that screams '3rd Pair'.....

Only thing that give me pause is his trade protection, but Miky would likely be given the opportunity to play in our top 6 next year.

All hawks fans may not agree but I would be perfectly fine taking Lee w/out retention for that return.

Hawks pass. We probably look for a more stable veteran RD to play with Korch or one of Del Mastro/Kaiser next season.

As a hawks fan I would take that, but not sure Ham would waive for us. I like him as a 7th d if we bring in another RD in FA, but he is certainly an upgrade on our defense from this season lmao.

I would love to have Pesce with Korch. Sadly 4.5 doesn't come close, he will get much better offers from contending teams.

Hawks are not giving up anything to get Rakell. It will cost the pens solid draft capital to dump that contract.

Pens return
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LuckyMoneyPuck</b></div><div>the magical FA goalie.....
Most goalies in FA are Old.
The ones that aren't have never carried a full time load or very few and far between.
For every goalie carrying a full time load, when they move a spot is open.
If it was really so easy, so many teams wouldn't be looking for one.
Fact is you can look at Jarry and say...oh other have similar numbers. But none of them were ever All stars for their play not once but twice. He's not old enough to say... he's washed. There is plenty of tread on those tires.
Jarry had arguably one of the worse defense in the entire league in front of him all year. The 3rd pairing has been AHL level all year.
EK and Letang are disasters in their own end.
I mean really, In a game that was basically a must win against BOS, EK just watched the puck go right past him and it ended up resulting in a goal. That's the kind of help penguins goalies have had this year in a nut shell.
If you put any defensive help in front of Jarry, those numbers don't look like that.
Fact is Jarry can stand on his head and everyone has seen it. That's why he's been to all star games. You can't just "find that" in free agency.</div></div>
The hawks Dcore is much worse than the pens this season, Mrazek still has a better sv %. Not to mention we have young goalies in the system that will get looks over the next 2 seasons. Jarry makes literally no sense for the hawks to buy.

Mrazek has a better sv % on the hawks this season than Jarry does on the Pens. Hard Pass.
