15 million for a first and a prospect and young player might not be worthwhile but who knows our management pretty incompetent but can probably be tricked easily

I figured, just thought it was a funny misclick. Assuming it was meant to be 1.75 mil. Would be extremely beneficial if CF had the commas for the money on these

This was done by a Leafs fan
There’s NO CHANCE the Sabres are interested in a defenseman who turns 37 before this season is over
Plus he has 4 years left on his contract after this
Sabres wouldn’t want a Letang for free
Idk what <a href="/users/LondonNight911" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@LondonNight911</a> is thinking here at all???
Makes absolutely ZERO SENSE for the Sabres
Letang is way too old & doesn't fit our timeline

Oh no you have to take on a top 6 forward for less than 5 mill a season...the Rangers would jump on this 100 out of 100 times this is beyond a fleecing

Not exactly worth it for Buffalo. That still wraps us up in 7+ mil a year for 3 years and an extra 3.5mil in 4 years time while literally down grading from a minimum 20 goal scorer to a guy that hasn’t scored 20 total in the last 4 years

Sabres save 1 mill and lose 50 -70 points. No it's not worth it, that pick has 0 value as well. They could buy out Skinner and get better value. We can do basic math, even GMKA could

Just to emphasize the difference between G v G.
Z has 6 goals in 39 games while B has 7 pts in 55 games.
Z is -2 and has a 2.39 xGA/60 while B is -9 and has a 2.73 xGA/60, while the hits/60 are nearly identical at 10 and 9.8 per 60 respectively.
While Cliffton has been a terrible disappointment, taking on Barclay's cap hit would be a disaster and would cost much more than next year's fifth .

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BUFF36</b></div><div>Yeah, he's a Prospect I am looking forward to seeing when he comes Over.</div></div>
He's at Michigan state. Was just reading a few of his scouting reports. Skating is mostly average, so there's concern he might have a tough time with the faster wingers. His offense shows up like crazy in wjc, but overall there's questions about if his offense will translate. And for further clarity, his physicality goes anywhere from physical to not physical, depending on who you ask. At worst, he could end up being a right handed stay at home third pair guy that isn't particularly physical. At best...I have no idea. I think I saw somebody on here say "well strbak isn't even the best freshman d at Michigan state"- which is a bit disingenuous, they have a kid that could go top 5 in this year's draft, name begins with an L I believe.
Quick edit- levshunov. Tankathon has him going 3rd overall

Was about to say, I take this all day. Unlike a lot of the “I’m just adding him so you can flip him,” trading VO feels like an easy lift, particularly if he’s going with such a small cap hit. Could even see this as already being done as a three-way trade.

Some okay moves here but I think the Sabres really need a goalie more then anything and some defensively strong bottom sixers more then anything else, like a two-way 3rd line and a physical, wear you down, heavy forechecking 4th line would make a big difference for this team.</div></div>

Thank you all for great feedback.
While I like all the trades other ACGM's inspired the fist two.
Mitts could be traded just to make space next year.
If he is traded he will be traded for a player (s) who would fill holes in the line up, i.e. RHD.
We can discuss the pro's and con's of each trade but that could last until the TDL, so I will skip it.
While cap is always an issue with adding a player with a cap as Truba, but Casey's new contract and Clifton's current nearly equal his Cap next year.
The cap goes up $4,000,000, another $6,500,000 will be added if Girgensons, Okposo and Robinson are not signed enough to offer Quinn and Peterka nearly $6,500,000 each.
Trouba comes off the following year and Skinner's contract expires when Kulich, Savoie and Rosen ELC END.
OF COURSE, the devil is in the detail, but cap space is not an issue for several years.

TDL sellers then revisit Zegras at the Draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Czu8iks</b></div><div>I am all for trading Krebs, but dont know who Beck is, and what he brings. It`s like flip those two guys for 10-15 position in draft best case, 5 positions worst case. I dont know</div></div>
Beck is unique as he's got Conflicting styles.
One side of the coin he's a stalwart Defensive Faceoff Center very much like Y.Perrault or A.Vermette who were Ambidextrous Centers
The other side of the coin is he's also a Penalty Drawing Spark Plug who never shuts up and has a mouth on him similar to Gally or Marchand. All game long he's in your ear.
Offensively he's a guy who will be Streaky but consistent in terms of being a 200ft player as he's not always getting the credit but he's a Catalyst who can swing the momentum all by himself.
Defensively he keeps his stick in the right shooting lanes, doesnt miss assignment but if i had to nit pick . . .if he was slightly faster his whole game would improve offensively as his Transition games would be subject to his speed rather then his Size or ability to Time plays out so he doesnt get slowed down through the NZ
Overall Middle 6 guy i'd call a Shaw/Eller hybrid for lack of less offensive comparable (i know some are already getting angry over the Marchand parallel even in the Context of being a mouth piece)
